Sleek, modern and functional meets high style at gina b.!!
I came across the most wonderful laptop bag — a bag that will put luxury at the fingertips of every working mom, and every mom who just likes to have her computer near — its at www.ginabinternational.com.
I found all the bags to be fantastic, but two caught my eye in particular…the Bella bag and the Gracie bag.
They are ”conservative business chic” with a little surprise inside—a hot pink luxurious lining! I absolutely adore them. They are roomy and great for organization. In addition to the padded laptop bag that fits inside the handbags, these bags have an inner zip pocket, outer pocket, cell phone pocket, pen pocket and key snap. Perfect for the woman on the go.
The gorgeous Bella bag ,also available in black or white, will be in select Bloomingdale’s stores in the next few weeks. The Gracie and Cappriccio bags, in assorted colors, are now 20% off !
The ultra-hip gina b. bags grace the shoulders of Brooke Burke, Rena Sofer, Kristin Cavallari and Heather Graham.
Oh yeah…there’s room to stash those all important baby essentials as well…I am in love.

Jenny McCarthy’s Got A Knack for Mama Lit!
Over the weekend I was contemplating what celeb author I like the best for parenting topics. I narrowed it down to Brooke Shieldsand Jenny McCarthy, and then awarded JM 1st prize because she has 4 books under her belt, one of which will be out this year.
What I like so much about Jenny McCarthy’s books is her writing style. Very conversational, which as you know from reading this blog, is right up our alley! Also, McCarthy is very honest (some would say raw), relate-able, and just plain funny, when appropriate.
McCarthy’s first two books (Belly Laughs and Baby Laughs) are very, very funny. Her third book (Life Laughs) still includes her great humor and spirit, but takes on some more serious topics (divorce). Book number four (Louder Than Words…)will likely have a bit of a serious tone as well…it discusses her son having autism.
If you have had a baby, lived with a baby, are preparing for a baby, are married, have been married, or just want to read about some of the more zany days of parenting and relationships, these books are well worth your time.
All four of McCarthy’s books are available on Amazon.
